Massage Therapy & Integrative Bodywork

My initial training in massage therapy took place in 1980.  The styles I was trained in
throughout my career of over 25 years have been swedish, esalen, sportsmassage, neuromuscular, deep-tissue, lymphatic, reflexology, cranio-sacral, aromatherapy,  hot stone
massage, and spa services.

A massage session can simply be a relaxation massage, allowing you to feel nurtured, relaxed, pampered and safe.   If you need a deeper massage to work out specific, troubled muscular areas, I can draw on any of the techniques I have listed above to assist you.  For a more holistic approach, reflexology can facilitate stimulation to all parts of the body bringing balance, while treating your feet to a totally rejuvenating experience.  For a more deeply meditative massage experience, integrating reiki, energy healing,  or cranio-sacral into the session can transport you.  For realignment after injury, accident or trauma, cranio-sacral brings a deep shift which allows pain patterns to be resolved and balance to be restored.   Aromatherapy is a wonderful enhancement to any of the massage therapy or integrated bodywork sessions.  It shifts the frequency of the body, brings oxygen to the cells, nourishes the cells, and releases stress and trauma from the amygdala of the brain through aromatic inhalation.  Hot stone massage is a combination of hands on massage and hot stones applied to the body in massage and placement.  It brings a therapeutic application of heat to the body that allows a deep surrender into a zone of relaxation that is far deeper than other relaxation massage sessions.

Spa services are also available, and listed in more detail at www.capecodbodyandsoul.com.

My initial training in reiki took place in 1982.  I have since become a Reiki Master as well as had training in energy, aura and chakra healing. I have also had extensive training in Kabbalistic Healing-Counseling, which is an area of specialization for me.  During all the years of my career, I have been committed to my own healing journey through psychotherapy, healing, supervision and meditation.  This for me is a foundation which allows me the privilege of working with others in their healing journeys, as I feel the only way to hold a safe space for others is to have one’s own clarity through the therapeutic experience.  This foundation is at the heart of all my work, including massage therapy and integrative bodywork.
